R350 Grants Can Now Be Collected At Shoprite and Checkers Stores

10 million people benefiting from the Social Relief of Distress R350 (SRD) grant every month, many different solutions are being trialled when it comes to the distribution of the money.

Applicants of the R350 SRD grant will now be able to collect their grants from either a Checkers, Shoprite and save or selected OK Foods stores.

Shoprite Group said, “Following the extension of the grant for another 12 months, customers can now access it at the till point in any Shoprite, Checkers, Usave and selected OK Foods supermarkets nationally

They added that the grant will be accessible in more than 1 200 supermarkets across South Africa

With believe that the announcement will be a convenient solution for customers, as this will allow them to collect their grant, buy essential groceries and pay their bills in a single location ,

How To Collect Money At Shoprite Store

To collect their grant in any Shoprite, Checkers, Usave or selected OK Foods, customers simply need to provide their ID and cell phone number. It must be the same cellphone number with which they registered on the SASSA database, as a confirmation OTP will be sent to this number to prevent fraud”
