Fire Fighter Training vacancies at Sasol

• Sasol is recruiting and accepting applications for Fire Fighter Training vacancies.

Purpose:

• Identifies learning needs, applies methodologies, develops learning material and facilitates the training and assessments of the workforce/learners according to the legal requirements within business unit of responsibility and in alignment with the Training accreditation authorities (i.e.: IFSAC, QCTO and other), frameworks, policies and guidelines.sh)

Key Accountabilities

• Apply SHE best practices during all activities pertaining to training environment.
• Identifies required learning interventions and learning outcomes.
• Delivering learning interventions through a variety of learning methodologies and techniques
• Facilitate formal and on-the-job learning.
• Develop, revise and update learning material as needed.
• Participate in KPA and PDP discussions.
• Ensure performance against KPA’s.
• Ensure own delivery on PDP actions.
• Work cooperatively with all stakeholders.
• Make suggestions and contributions to safety improvements.
• Participate in housekeeping activities.

Education Or Qualification

1. Grade 12 with mathematical literacy/equivalent or higher
2. Medically fit, according to relevant Fire Fighter fitness level assessment Fire fighter 1 (NFPA 1001) (Must)
3. Fire fighter 2 (NFPA 1001) – (Must)
4. Level 3 First Aid – (Must)
5. Hazmat awareness (NFPA 1072/472) – (Must)
6. Hazmat operations (NFPA 1072/472) – (Must

• Experience: None (0) – 5 relevant years
