To successfully apply for admission into the University, it is necessary to have the following:
- A completed application form with your personal information, as well as a certified copy of your high school certificate.
- Proof of payment of application fee or proof that you are applying on behalf of someone who has already paid the fee on your behalf.

- Enter your student number in the box provided and click Continue.
- Click submit at the bottom of the page to confirm your application to Unisa, or if you want to make any changes – otherwise just click submit again!

- How do I apply?
You will be able to apply online at Unisa’s website or at your nearest study centre. If you are not able to visit a study centre, you can still apply online by downloading a printable application form and returning it to Unisa (either by post or in person).
- What is the application process?
The application procedure consists of two steps: an online registration step and an actual application step. The registration step involves providing some basic information such as name, date of birth, contact details etcetera; this part can be completed online on Unisa’s website or via your nearest study centre if needed. After completing the registration steps successfully, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with instructions on how to proceed with the actual application process – this includes uploading academic transcripts and certificates for each qualification which has been applied for individually (some qualifications may have multiple applications). You also need to upload proof that some specific courses have been completed successfully by way of transcripts from previous institutions attended (for example matriculation certificates).
