SSETA learnerships are designed to benefit both unemployed youth and employed workers who want to upskill. To qualify, you generally need to:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old (youth-focused learnerships).
- Have at least a Grade 11 or Grade 12 certificate, depending on the programme.
- Be willing to commit to a 12–24 month programme.
- Show interest in the services sector (e.g., customer service, HR, marketing, finance, business management).
