
- The internship runs for either 12 or 18 months, depending on your qualification and Managed People Solutions are managing the programme.
- It offers hands-on training, exposure to real merchandising environments and the chance to work alongside experienced professionals.
Successful candidates will take on a variety of responsibilities, including determining stock that needs to be merchandised, drawing stock requirements, checking product quality and shelf rotation, ensuring accurate price tags, and following merchandising plans outlined in the cycle brief.
Interns will also assist with customer queries, track merchandising activities, stay informed about products and promotions and notify the RSM about out-of-stock items.
To qualify, applicants must be between 18 and 28 years old and hold either an N6 TVET Certificate (requiring an 18-month workplace experience component) or an NCV Level 4 Certificate in a relevant field. No work experience is needed, but candidates should be willing to learn, adapt and work professionally within a busy retail environment. The internship provides a monthly stipend of R3 500.
- The programme duration is 18 months for N6 TVET candidates and 12 months for NCV Level 4 candidates.
